Forget You--1

He must become greater; I must become less. John 3:30

They came to John and said to him, "Rabbi, that man who was with you on the other side of the Jordan-the one you testified about-well, he is baptizing, and everyone is going to him." John 3:26

To mature physically we increase, but to mature spiritually we decrease!

BEING LESS ABOUT ME AND MORE ABOUT JESUS MEANS.

1. I LOSE MY FOCUS.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith... Hebrews 12:2

2. I LOSE MY STUFF.

Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income... Ecclesiastes 5:10

No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. Matthew 6:24

3. I LOSE MY LIFE.

Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Matthew 10:39

GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOU!

Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! Isaiah 49:15

2. READ THE BIBLE!

2. RENEWING MY MIND INVOLVES DAILY OBEDIENCE!

Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey --whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?  Romans 6:16

MY CLOSENESS TO GOD CAN BE MEASURED BY THE TIME IT TAKES FROM HIS COMMAND TO MY OBEDIENCE!

Summer is here and so ready for it!

Well Summer is here and Autumn has been out of school since May 11th and has already done plenty of things since she has been out.

Autumn had a friend come over and stay with her the first weekend out of school. They had lots of fun Libby followed them around like she was part of them LOL.

We went to the zoo and they had a blast walking around and then later that evening we went to a special boys 4 year old birthday party Quinton.

That was one of adventure to do after school is out and summer break even though it was on a weekend but I work during week so we do alot of our on weekends. We even went to church that night also so it was a busy busy day!

We even had a great Mother's day spending with girls, and went to church with mom and grandma!

Well that is good for know on a update with our life and how it is going so well. And so will update you guys alittle later on some other things. With them swimming in pool for first time and some other days.

Soul Detox---1

The Heavy Soul

• WE ARE NOT A BODY WITH A SOUL.
• WE ARE A SOUL WITH A BODY.

WHY ARE OUR SOULS HEAVY?

* HEAVY WITH HURTS FROM THE PAST.

I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me. Lamentations 3:19-20

* HEAVY WITH TROUBLE IN THE PRESENT.

But now trouble comes to you, and you are discouraged; it stikes you, and you are dismayed. Job 4:5

* HEAVY WITH ANXIETY ABOUT THE FUTURE.

...[Jesus] began to be deeply distressed and troubled. My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death..."  Mark 14:33-34

TELL YOUR SOUL TO

* REMEMBER GOD'S FAITHFULNESS IN THE PAST.

I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me. Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:19-23

* CRY OUT TO GOD IN THE PRESENT.

I pour out my complaint before him; before him I tell my trouble... I cry to you, O Lord; I say, "You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living." Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need. Psalm 142:2, 5-6

* TRUST IN GOD'S POWER FOR YOU FUTURE.

"Be strong and courageous. do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles..." 2 Chronicles 32:7-8

SOUL DETOX---2

THE TORTURED SOUL

• WE ARE NOT A BODY WITH A SOUL.
• WE ARE A SOUL WITH A BODY.

Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. 1 Peter 2:11

WHAT TORTURES OUR SOULS?

1) WE'RE TORTURED BY THINGS WE'VE DONE.

...my bones have no soundness because of my sin., My guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to bear. Psalm 38:3-4

2) WE'RE TORTURED BY LIES WE BELIEVE.

...[The devil] was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44-45

TELL YOUR SOUL

1) IT'S BETTER TO CONFESS YOUR SINS THAN HIDE YOUR SINS.

He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Proverbs 28:13

* We confess to God for Forgiveness of sins.

If we confess our sins, [God] is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

* We confess to People for Healing from sins.

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. James 5:16

2) CHRIST WILL SET YOU FREE.

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his woulds you have been healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. 1 Peter 2:24-25

SOUL DETOX---3

THE RESTLESS SOUL

• WE ARE NOT A BODY WITH A SOUL.
• WE ARE A SOUL WITH A BODY.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7 KJV

THE CURSE OF THE RESTLESS SOUL

Now you are under a curse and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand. When you work the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for you. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth. Genesis 4:11-12

What does a man get for all the toil and anzious striving with which he labors under the sun? All his days his work is pain and grief; even at night his mind does not rest... Ecclesiastes 2:22-23







WHERE DO WE FIND REST FOR OUR SOULS?

• OUR SOULS FIND REST IN GOD ALONE.

My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. Psalm 62:1

"You have made us for yourelf, O Lord, and our soul is restless until it finds rest in you." Augustine

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-29

HOW DO WE FIND REST IN GOD?

• BE STILL BEFORE GOD.

Be still, and know that I am God... Psalm 46:10

But I have stilled and quieted my soul... Psalm 131:2

•  WAIT FOR GOD.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him... Psalm 37:7

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning... Psalm 130:5-6

• What do you want to say to me?
• What do you want to show me?
• What do you want to do in me?

• REFLECT ON GOD'S GOODNESS

Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the Lord has been good to you. For you, O Lord, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living. Psalm 116:7-9



SOUL DETOX---4

THE SEDUCED SOUL

• WE ARE NOT A BODY WITH A SOUL.
• WE ARE A SOUL WITH A BODY.

You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. Exodus 20:3-4

So do not corrupt yourselves by making an idol in any form -- whether of a man or a woman, an animal on the ground, a bird in the sky, a small animal that scurries along the ground, or a fish in the deepest sea. And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars -- all the forces of heaven -- don't be seduced into worshiping them. Deuteronomy 4:16-19 NLT

What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? Mark 8:36

DETHRONING THE IDOLS OF OUR SOULS

1) IDENTIFY THE IDOLS OF OUR SOULS.

Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol. Psalm 24:3-4

• Time
• Money
• Conversation

2) TEAR DOWN OUR IDOLS.

...Tear down your father's altar to Baal and cut down the Asherah pole beside it. Judges 6:25

Jesus looked at him and loved him. "One thing you lack, he said, "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." Mark 10:21

3) FILL YOUR SOUL WITH GOD.

My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Psalm 84:2

For [God] satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. Psalm 107:9 ESV

As the dear pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thrists for God, for the living God... Psalm 42:1-2









 These our my 2 beautiful Girls.

They our my Life, Faith, and gives me Strength throughout my life and going to be my

long time future to make sure they get what they want and need in the future and show them

how they can do whatever they want even if people tell them they can't. Let them know they

can be strong and be confidence and don't let anyone hurt them and keep their faith in God he is

always with us. Thank You God for giving me the beautiful girls I have and I am so blessed to

know you and have you in my life!

Well May is going thats all I can say. Well looks as will be paying rent here at parents house cause

don't look like getting a place of own anytime soon. I just want my own space; so I can decorate walls, and just do what I want(even though do that here) but just don't feel as it is my own space and

can't have anyone over whenever I want and then if I want to plan a birthday party like 2 in the

future can't have them here cause someone doesn't like what her house looks like. I just want my

own space thats all I want.....is it hard to ask or want something. Evidently it is hard for me to get!

Autumn is excited about being out of school for the summer and we got the pool up so going to

be one fun and excited summer. Think going to take the girls to Branson for a mini vacation too.

Libby is doing great on potty training. She is wearing big girl panties all the time know. And she is

being a typical 2 year old any other time.

For the Lord gives wisdom;

From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;

He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;

He is a shield to those who walk upright;

He guards the paths of justice,

And preserves the way of His saints.

Then you will understand righteousness and justice,

Equity and every good path.

                                      Proverbs 2:6-9

But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;

He is their strength in the time of trouble.

And the Lord shall help them and deliver them;

He shall deliver them from the wicked,

And save them,

Because they trust in Him.

                                 Psalm 37:39-40

I am going to leave my faith in God and he will lead me where I need to go especially in getting

my own space and place for me and my girls!
